Ghost and Tape is the name behind musician and sound artist Heine Christensen. A guitarist that improvises and engineers with sampling, mini synths, field recordings, processing of analogue sound sources, sequencing and sound manipulations to create instrumental pieces rich in ambient electroacoustic landscapes and dense layers. At the foundation of ghost and tape there is an interest in tonal harmonies and sonic textures and how these interact with each other. Christensen wrote, produced and mixed his debut album en 2010, released on Japanese label Schole Records. When performing live ghost and tape improvises with instruments and objects using loopers and complex effect chains.
Christensen wrote, produced and recorded his first album in 2010, published in Japanese label Schole Records. He has also worked with Hibernate Recordings, Future Sequence, Slaapwel, and his fourth album will be released with Fall with Home Normal.
